Cvent & SpotMe Event Technologist

The Event Technologist reports to the Director - Event Technology and is responsible for the development of a variety of event technology solutions, including registration web sites, mobile apps, virtual events production. What you will do here: • Meet or exceed all client deadline expectations • Educate internal and external stake holders on the event technologies that M&IW offers • Recommend event technology solution stacks that provide the best use of technology throughout the program lifecycle • Collaborate with internal team members, subject matter experts, and external clients • Has the ability to decipher meeting planner function sheets and translate that into the appropriate application/platform • Perform general application tasks throughout the program life cycle • Lead presentations and/or project kick off calls, as required • Support IT Services team with miscellaneous projects, as needed • Provide quality assistance for programs onsite, as requested Project Management • Manage all attendee communication. Examples include event invitations, reminders, travel letters, communication emails, surveys, and virtual event communications • Build and maintain parked reports, dashboards, and portals • Create and manage meeting timelines/run of show based on meeting requirements • Provide onsite assistance. • Possess an understanding of Android and iOS user interfaces and ecosystems to aid in the downloading, installation, content display and use of mobile applications • Develop virtual platform understanding and management: • Zoom, WebEx, Streamyard (create links & update settings) • Lead Rehearsals for All Speakers, Key Stakeholders and Production Team • Create Technical Run of Show, polling, breakouts • Work with the AV/Technical Support to Manage Slide Decks and Content Delivery • Follow Information Privacy and Security SOPs to Protect Client’s Information at All Times • Understand general event technology tasks - create, edit, delete, manage user profiles, analytics • Monitor quality of visual and written content on all event technology platforms • Research new technology opportunities and process improvements
