Development Events Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Development Events & Corporate Relations and functioning as a member of the development events and corporate relations team this person is responsible for assisting with the development planning and implementation of revenue generating events across Lifespan and its affiliates... Under the direction of the Director of Development Events & Corporate relations and in collaboration with the development events team and hospital affiliates assists with the the development planning and implementation of revenue generating events of Lifespan and its affiliates. As directed assists with the preparation of related business/marketing plans for Lifespan partner special events including assisting with development of expense and revenue budgets related to event activities. Carries out tasks consistent with the project plan to ensure optimum event execution inclusive of management of and relationship building with all vendors associated with the event. Desired candidate must have strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with corporate sponsors hospital executives volunteers patients and families media and general public.
