We are seeking a visionary Director of Events to join our dynamic team and lead the planning and execution of extraordinary events that reflect the elegance and excellence of our resort. As the Director of Events, you will be the creative and strategic force behind all events hosted at our resort. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3-5 years of Director of Events experience in event planning or management, in a 5 Star FORBES rated or Luxury property.Proven track record of planning and executing high-profile events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with acute attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in event management software and tools.Knowledge of Hawaiian culture, traditions, and local vendors is a plus.
