Specifically, the Director leads the department in planning and implementing programs and... initiatives in support of campus partners, external constituents, and high-profile public events where consultation, production, and event management services (from planning to execution) are required. The Director ensures that the department upholds the exacting standards of the University while ensuring all events exhibit the same level of quality that reflects Carnegie Mellon’s longstanding commitment to tradition, excellence, and academic inquiry.
