Director of Events

Star Mountain is employee-owned with material long-term wealth creation opportunity for dedicated, entrepreneurial professionals. Position Description • Strategic Events Leadership: Lead the global events strategy supporting institutional, private wealth, consultant, and insurance fundraising channels as well as events focused on deal origination; ensure all events reinforce Star Mountain’s brand positioning and key commercial priorities. • Third-Party Event Strategy: Evaluate and analyze prospective third-party event attendance and speaking roles for the Star Mountain full time Senior Team and/or Senior Advisors/Operating Partners; develop a robust external event circuit for the senior fundraising team and/or senior origination team (speaking engagements, conferences, networking events) and liaise with hosts to manage all Star Mountain-related activities. • Proven leadership and people management skills; ability to inspire and develop team members. • High proficiency in CRM, Notion, and other marketing tools related to analytics and digital content • Superior technical aptitude and digital-native comfort level essential for success in our highly tech-enabled, fast-paced environment.
