Director of Events & Committees

Position SummaryThe Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and relationship-driven Director of Events and Committees to oversee the planning, execution, growth, and success of the Chamber’s events and committee programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, understands the importance of member engagement, and can manage multiple events, committees, partners, sponsors, and deadlines at once. · Evaluate each event’s success through attendance, revenue, member engagement, sponsor satisfaction, and overall guest experience. · Experience managing event budgets, sponsorships, or revenue goals preferred. The role requires regular attendance at Chamber events, committee meetings, member functions, and community programs throughout the Charlotte area.
