Job DescriptionAn elite, premier catering and events venue in Paissac/ Bergen county area of NJ, is seeking a visionary and high-energy Director of Operations. This full-time sernior management position requires a hands-on leader to take absolute ownership of all operational facets of our luxury event space. From executing flawless high-end weddings and corporate galas to managing back-of-house logistics and front-of-house hospitality standards, you will ensure our reputation for excellence is maintained at every event.Key Responsibilities Complete Venue Oversight : Lead and manage all day-to-day administrative, culinary, and service operations.Team Leadership : Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule a high-performing team of event managers, service staff, and culinary professionals.Financial Accountability : Manage operational budgets, control labor and beverage costs, and maximize profitability to hit bonus targets.Client Satisfaction : Oversee the execution of all events, ensuring strict steps of luxury service and immediate resolution of any logistical issues.Vendor & Supply Management : Coordinate with external event planners, decorators, and premium suppliers while managing venue inventory.Compliance & Safety : Maintain flawless health department standards, venue safety protocols, and operational compliance.QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of senior hospitality management experience, specifically within high-volume, luxury catering or upscale event venues.Exceptional financial acumen with proven experience managing budgets and cost-control and inventory systems.Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire a large, fast-paced service team during high-pressure events.Outstanding organizational, communication, and logistical problem-solving skills.Flexibility to work demanding hours, including late nights, holidays, and mandatory weekend shifts and most Holidays .What We Offer Competitive starting base salary of $104,000 $ 120,000.Lucrative, performance-based bonus plan upto 20% of base salary tied to operational efficiency of labor, food and beverage, and operational costs and profitability.Paid time off (PTO) and executive career growth opportunities.Company Descriptionluxury first class catering venue#J-18808-Ljbffr
