Event & Administrative Associate

Community Event Co. Davis, California

The Event & Administrative Associate (EAA) will report directly to principal consultant Holly Wong, and will have the opportunity to work with multiple events, projects, and clients. A regular schedule should be set, with at least 8 hours per week during weekday business hours (e.g. Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-1pm). Project Administration (30%) • Provide administrative project support across client portfolio, compiling updates for budgets, project management software, timelines, resource folders, and more • Track project progress and share updates and reports with CEC team and clients • Create company project templates • Draft CEC email newsletters and social media content • Keep project management systems updated as related to assigned tasks • Staff meetings including 1-on-1s and team-wide • Participate in training as assigned or as requested • Track hours closely • Maintain client confidentiality • Provide reports on assignments • Assist with keeping shared systems including Google Drive and Canva organized for collaborative use • Learn/use other provided tools to communicate effectively with team members • Other duties as assigned The listed Primary Responsibilities are the core basic functions of this position, but there are several other tasks our team regularly takes on that could be added to the EAA job based on interest and with mutual agreement.
