Event Assistant

We are looking to hire an Event Assistant to join our growing team! In the Event Assistant role, you will help us expand our client's brand awareness, promote products and services tailored to people's needs, and provide top-tier customer service in big-box retail stores. Responsibilities of an Event Assistant: • Directly engage with customers in a retail setting to educate them about AT&T's products and services • Promote and sell services that are tailored to meet the needs of customers • Create meaningful relations with new and existing consumers to strengthen consumer retention & boost sales revenue • Assist customers with the enrollment process & provide fantastic customer service • Overcome objections and answer questions in a professional & quick manner • Work with the Promotional Events team & senior leaders to review and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals • Participate in ongoing training sessions with the Event Assistant team to improve sales techniques, enhance customer relationships, and develop leadership skills What We're Looking For in an Event Assistant: • Previous experience in brand sales, marketing, retail, or a similar role is a plus • A positive attitude and a future-focused demeanor • Ability to engage with customers in a face-to-face setting • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions & consumer needs • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and work well independently • Strong problem-solving abilities • Time management skills & ability to handle multiple tasks at once effectively The salary range listed is based on total target earnings including an hourly base pay plus commissions and individual performance bonuses
