The role will be an integral part of our event marketing and promotions team in an effort to help raise brand awareness for our clients. In this role, you’ll be the face of our clients’ brands at events, retail activations, and community-based marketing campaigns. Responsibilities of an Event Assistant: • Develop and execute promotional communications and event sales strategies in an effort to establish and maintain a positive brand image • Represent clients at in-person events, pop-ups, and retail partner locations throughout the Portland area • Assist customers at events and retail locations with all steps of the sales process, from analyzing available offerings to making selections and placing sales orders • Generate a buzz about the client and company with the general public through targeted communications and retail marketing initiatives • Promote products and services in a meaningful way to the public and provide a direct feedback loop for continued success • Develop solid working relationships with cross-functional counterparts to streamline business operations and maximize performance • Conduct educational and training meetings for junior staff on clients, products, and services • Gather customer references and testimony for further branding and retail marketing efforts • A self-starter with high energy, resilience, and a competitive drive to meet goals. • Proactive, goal-oriented individuals who take pride in what they do and in successfully completing their tasks.
