Event Captain

About the role We are looking for welcoming, dynamic, and customer-focused event staff to join our team and ensure our guests enjoy top-notch service. As Event Captain, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable moments for our guests during events. What you'll do • Manage the event team for a variety of styles of event • Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment • Show guests to their designated area and explain our policies & procedures • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work, including event set up. • Maintain safety and food & beverage quality standards • Keep guests happy and handle complaints appropriately • Build a rapport with our guests and vendors • Brainstorm ideas to enhance the guest experience • Maintain a positive image of the Pirate Ventures brand at all times • Working with Building Managers, execute first-class events • Communicate event details provided by the marketing and operations teams to ensure our event are run effectively and efficiently
