Part-Time - 40+ Hours per month The Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing various events for the organization, including monthly luncheons and mixers. Event Preparation • Confirm event location • Print menus and confirm totals with the restaurant • Prepare name badges and manage registrations • Confirm and coordinate with volunteers As well as being driven and having a desire to develop your skill set and grow with LAGLCC, the ideal Event Coordinator will have the following: • Proven experience in event planning and coordination • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred proficiencies: • Experience working at a membership-based organization or non-profit • Experience working with association management software (e.g. ChamberMaster / GrowthZone)
