• This recruitment will be used to fill three (3) part-time Programming Coordinator positions for the academic year. • This position will work 15 hours per week at $17.50 / hour starting with training Tuesday, September 3rd. Other Position Responsibilities (15%) • May be asked to serve on a committee or work group within the Office of Student Life or Student Affairs • Work to learn, enhance, and promote diversity and social justice • Represent Events Council and the Office of Student Life to the OSU-Cascades and Central Oregon community • Engage in ongoing professional development and community building Preferred (Special) Qualifications • Previous experience working for any of the units in Student Life • Experience engaging traditionally underrepresented social identities (I.e. Race, Gender, Gender Identity, or Ability) • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills • Knowledge of or experience with project management • Experience in leadership activities, student organizations, community service, and / or outreach activities • Previous experience working on a committee • Experience working with various tools within Bend Beavs Central (CampusGroups) and Microsoft Office365 • In good academic standing for the term prior to selection and during entire period of employment • Maintain at least a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (undergraduates) or 3.0 (graduates) and be in good academic standing Working Conditions / Work Schedule Duties Breakdown • Five hours will be for Office Hours • Five hours will be for either Events or event prep / follow-up (switches approximately every other week) • Three hours will be for planning events (outside of designated Office Hours) • Thirty minutes will be for weekly individual check-ins • One hour will be for weekly Events Council meetings
