Event Coordinator

Cicero Grand - Syracuse North Cicero, New York

We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Event Coordinator to manage and grow our banquet and event operations at Cicero Grand. Manage the full event lifecycle: inquiries, tours, booking, planning, and execution Respond to leads quickly and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings Conduct site tours and build strong relationships with clients (weddings, parties, corporate events) Coordinate all event details including room setup, catering, timelines, and vendor logistics Work closely with kitchen, front desk, and banquet staff to ensure smooth operations Create detailed event orders (BEOs), timelines, and setup instructions Be physically present during events to oversee setup, execution, and breakdown Upsell add-ons (upgraded packages, décor, extended hours, etc.) What We’re Looking For Experience in event coordination, banquet management, hotel, or restaurant environment Strong sales mindset — comfortable closing deals and upselling services Highly organized and able to manage multiple events at different stages Strong communication skills (phone, email, in-person) Comfortable working evenings and weekends (when events happen) Ability to stay calm and problem-solve during live events Experience with weddings and banquet operations is a big plus Familiarity with contracts, deposits, and event budgeting Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
