JOIN THE CALIFORNIA SURF CLUB TEAM
We’re looking for an energetic, organized Event Coordinator who genuinely loves hospitality and knows that great events live in the details.
California Surf Club is a 21,000-square-foot waterfront social club and restaurant in Redondo Beach, rooted in BeachLife culture, community, food, drink and memorable experiences. This position will support events across California Surf Club, North Grill and BeachLife Riviera.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate is organized, calm under pressure, proactive and an excellent communicator. You’ll help execute private celebrations, member events, corporate functions and special programming while working closely with our Operations, Culinary, Bar, Membership and Programming teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute events in alignment with the Events Manager’s planningReview and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Coordinate setup, décor, layouts, signage and event readinessLead on-site event staff and coordinate timing across departmentsServe as the primary client contact during eventsManage event flow and proactively solve problemsAssist with event inquiries, documentation, menus and client materialsCoordinate vendors and maintain accurate event recordsAssist with post-event reporting, billing and reconciliationMaintain event inventory, equipment and suppliesQUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of hospitality, event or restaurant experienceStrong organizational and communication skillsHospitality and food & beverage knowledgeExperience executing BEOsPOS proficiencyTripleseat experience preferredMicrosoft Office and Google Workspace proficiencyAbility to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detailAvailability for evenings, weekends and occasional holidaysWORKLOAD
Approximately 75% Event Execution / 25% Administrative Support. This balance may shift based on seasonality and event volume.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30–$35 per hour
Location: Redondo Beach, CA
