The role of Event Coordinator at PRA provides an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about event planning and operations to join a leading business event management firm. This is a work-from-home position; however, applicants must reside in the Austin area and be available for frequent in-person client meetings, events, and site inspections. Successful Event Coordinators act as vital support personnel to Experience Designers and Event Producers, assisting in the creation, development, and delivery of innovative event programs. Key responsibilities include program development support, supplier and partner relationship management, program tracking, invoice processing, and acting as a liaison for event production logistics. Event Coordinators will also operate smaller programs independently and serve as onsite points of contact for vendors and field staff.
This role demands excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to multitask while working within tight deadlines. The position requires flexibility for varying work hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and occasional regional travel to manage active programs.
