Event Manager

They Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of their events including of being present at the event. Specific Annual SA events include, but are not limited to Homecoming Spirit Week, Homecoming Carnival, SA BBQ, UnTapped, Food Fest, lobby activities, snow tubing. • Create event budgets proposals and estimated revenue for events • Prepare event proposals for the Entertainment Director's review • Handle all vendor communications • Responsible for any "Advance" arrangements with Vendors • Function as supervisor for the execution of events and must be present at the events • Will oversee coordination of all staff at the activity and any other resources • Attend all SA Staff meetings, trainings and staff activities and complete any preparation work that may be required in advance of such meetings. • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting SA's commitment to the student body. • Ability to multi-task • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as negotiation skills • Ability to acclimate within changing circumstances, and to accommodate various personalities while maintaining a professional demeanor • Understanding of, and interest in student activities
