Event Manager

Upohar is seeking a dynamic Catering Event Manager to plan and lead on-site execution of catering events, such as weddings, corporate events and fundraising galas. The catering event manager is responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage service at events, and coordinates details and logistics to deliver a smooth and successful experience that is consistent with Upohar’s brand promise. This is a part-time (project-based) position based in the Harrisburg area to manage events within a 90-minute drive radius. Leadership abilities: able to motivate and manage a team to achieve high standards of service. ServSafe certified (or can become certified) Access to a computer for online meetings and remote work Able to lift and carry catering equipment and heavy containers of food and beverage Able to stay on feet for long periods of time Background check (clear of charges or activity related to alcohol, or crimes involving minors) Perks: This is a hybrid position, with a flexible work schedule.
