Event Manager | Full Time | Rhode Island Convention Center

In addition to managing a wide variety of events at the complex, this position also serves as a multi-faceted event manager for producing all levels and types of events including in-house, amphitheater, and swim meets. Serves as lead on-site contact with event promoter from planning the event, move in of event to the facility, the actual event and move out of the event. Prepares and compiles and communicates lessee event expense information for use by the business department in financial settlement of the event. • Position is primary on-site contact for planning of the event, move in of the event into the facility, the actual event, and move out of the event; requiring that this manager frequently adapt all internal and external resources to often changing scenarios. • Knowledge of event management procedures.
