Event Operations Assistant

We provide our clients with support from a full-service, in-house Production Department that provides technical equipment including concert audio, lighting, truss, and rigging, as well as the largest fleet of Stageline Mobile Stages on the East Coast. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: • Understanding or interest in event production and/or artistic production • Willingness to work in a flexible schedule that may include long hours and irregular times, including weekends, nights, & holidays • Ability to receive, understand, and follow instructions & directions from a supervisor • Ability to follow directions and ask clarifying questions • Eagerness to learn & willingness to be trained in existing systems or policies • Maturity & understanding of an artistic process and the ability to work closely with clients in a diplomatic & professional manner • Reliable transportation to event sites throughout the area • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Must be at least 18-years old on the date of hire. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in theater, events, concerts, or other production environments. • Knowledge of different kinds of event production equipment • Technical skills such as carpentry, lighting, sound, rigging, or AV experience • The ability to drive a large vehicle such as a van or box truck is preferred The pay range for this position is $15 per hour, with the opportunity for candidates with previous experience, higher-level technical skills, and certifications to be considered for higher rates
