Duties • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering, and guest accommodations • Manage vendor contracts and negotiate terms to ensure quality services within budget • Oversee event marketing efforts to promote upcoming events and increase attendance • Upsell additional services such as catering packages, upgrades, or special features to clients • Develop detailed event timelines and ensure all logistics are executed smoothly on the day of the event • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their expectations • Supervise event staff, including setup crews, catering teams, and guest services personnel • Handle budgeting responsibilities, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all event activities • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to foster client satisfaction and repeat business • Follow up on tenant requests and coordinate timely resolutions • Liaise with vendors and contractors for property-related services and repairs • Track and follow through on tenant needs, ensuring clear communication and reliable support • Assist with scheduling and coordinating property access for events, vendors, and maintenance • Maintain accurate records of event bookings, tenant interactions, and vendor communications Skills • Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and upselling opportunities • Experience in event marketing and event planning with a focus on maximizing attendance and engagement • Excellent customer service skills with a hospitality or property management background preferred • Effective time management to handle multiple events and property tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines • Proven experience in events management, banquet operations, or hotel/hospitality services • Ability to manage budgets accurately while maintaining high-quality standards • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, tenants, vendors, and team members • Highly organized with strong logistical coordination skills • Experience in guest services, fundraising, or property coordination is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
