Event Planner – Photography Competition (Contract) We are seeking a passionate and organized Event Planner to manage our upcoming Photography Competition in New York City. Responsibilities • Reach out and coordinate with NYC universities and art schools to encourage participation • Build and manage the online submission platform for participants • Communicate with participants and answer competition-related questions • Organize and coordinate a diverse judging panel (educators, artists, and hotel representatives) • Plan and execute the final awards event Qualifications • Experience in event planning, ideally with art/photography competitions or creative projects • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines independently • Comfortable with online submission/registration tools • Passion for art, photography, and community engagement Location: New York City (remote coordination + in-person event execution)
