Pittsburgh (HS) has initiated a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to identify a qualified retreat/event planning consultant to organize and implement an overnight staff retreat focused on acknowledging and reducing compassion fatigue through self-care, teambuilding, and Black respite for the organization. If the people who fuel Healthy Start's work (our most important asset) do not have the physical, mental, or emotional health to carry on, we cannot accomplish our mission. On an organizational level, an overnight staff retreat will provide an opportunity to connect as a team post-pandemic and to collectively renew our commitment to health equity and reducing disparities for Black women and babies. All costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this RFP are the responsibility of the bidder and will not be reimbursed by Healthy Start, Inc. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the response is received by Jada Shirriel by the closing submission date.
