About the Role We are seeking an experienced Event Planning Specialist to join our team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing events, including conventions, meetings, and social gatherings. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution; • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors; • Maintain accurate records and reports of event activities; • Collaborate with sales staff to promote hotel facilities and services; • Plan and conduct pre- and post-event meetings with clients and stakeholders; • Communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure a positive experience. Requirements • 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality/events planning industry; • Strong communication and organizational skills; • Ability to work flexible schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently; • Knowledge of lighting and sound equipment and usage; • Ability to lift, grasp, carry, and/or push up to 50 pounds.
