Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. The Event Sales Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating all aspects of event planning and sales to deliver exceptional experiences that meet client expectations and organizational standards. Duties • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their event needs and preferences • Promote and upsell event services, including catering, banquet options, and additional amenities • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure bookings that align with company policies and client budgets • Coordinate with internal teams on event planning details such as venue setup, catering, entertainment, and guest services • Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through contract signing and follow-up • Assist in marketing efforts for upcoming events through targeted outreach and promotional campaigns • Oversee event logistics to ensure timely execution, including setup, staffing, and breakdown • Track budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally • Maintain organized records of sales activities, client communications, and event details for reporting purposes Skills • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively • Proficiency in marketing strategies related to event promotion and outreach • Experience in upselling additional services or packages to clients • Knowledge of event marketing, planning, and management best practices • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction • Effective time management to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines • Organizational skills for managing contracts, budgets, and detailed event plans • Experience in banquet operations, catering coordination, or hospitality settings such as hotels or restaurants • Familiarity with fundraising events or guest services within the hospitality industry • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team This position offers an engaging environment where your organizational talents and sales expertise will contribute directly to memorable events.
