Overview
Join the Tamber crew, a cool group of musicians and tech geniuses while we make our mark on the music tech space. We're looking for some reliable and hardworking people to help us with our events - you'll be responsible for helping set-up event spaces to ensure seamless, engaging, and visually stunning environments. We curate each event to suit our vibe and you'll be a fixture in ensuring the success of each one, leading up to and beyond our official launch! Your energy and attention to detail will help transform venues into captivating settings that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

NOTE: This is not working the event itself, it's focused on prep, set-up and breakdown.

Duties

Assist with the layout and arrangement of furniture, staging, signage, and decorations according to event specifications.
Potentially set up audio-visual equipment, lighting, and other technical components required for event presentations.
Ensure all event materials, supplies, and equipment are transported safely and efficiently to the venue.
Possibly coordinate with event organizers and vendors to confirm setup requirements and timelines.
Conduct thorough inspections of the venue before events begin to ensure safety standards and cleanliness are maintained.
Break down and pack up all event elements after the conclusion of each event, restoring the space to its original condition.
Maintain inventory records of setup supplies and report any damages or shortages promptly.

Requirements

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during setup and breakdown activities.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed based on event schedules.
Prior experience in event setup, staging, or related roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of basic audio-visual equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
