Event Support

Who you are: What you’ll do: • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality • Possess an understanding of proper steps of service and consistently executes them with efficiency and grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service • Anticipate and respond to guest needs • Ensure constant communication with Event Captains, staff members, management and the kitchen during service • Maintain the high standards of cleanliness and proper appearance throughout all areas of event venues • Reliably complete all assigned set up and breakdown tasks • Demonstrate knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) and USHG’s health and safety standards • Demonstrate a desire to learn more about the event and work as a team • Demonstrate basic guest recognition skills—can identify USHG leadership, key clients, and event hosts • Show understanding of all service styles (ex: reception, buffet, seated, coat check) • Demonstrate appropriate tableside and guest interaction manner • Works effectively and safely with team members to complete set up and break down tasks and service At Union Square Hospitality Group, we believe our people are our greatest ingredient.
