Events and Marketing Specialist - Full-time

ol liResponsible for updating task assignments and due dates on Monday.com and coordinating reminders to the team when necessary/li liResponsible for requesting quotes from multiple advertising vendors./li liResponsible for processing and tracking all accounts payable transactions within the Marketing and Communications division (i.e., invoices from vendors, receipts from subscriptions, check requests, etc. ol liResponsible for recommending employee and corporate event initiatives and themes that reinforce Family HealthCare Networks’ business goals, vision, mission, and culture.nbsp;/li liResponsible for coordinating the FHCN Fun Committee to recommend employee events.nbsp;/li liResponsible for reporting insights and trends with the Marketing and Communications Manager to drive more effective/efficient employee and corporate event programs and outcomes./li liManages the production of all internal and external corporate events, including, but not limited to, the FHCN Gala, Tenure Awards, mixers, picnics, etc.nbsp;/li liResponsible for production of all aspects of planning and executing logistics for FHCN Grand Openings and Ground Breakings from inception to completion./li liManages events calendar and meets all event production deadlines.nbsp;/li liResponsible for managing vendor contracts and communications with stakeholders and vendors.nbsp;/li liManages guest communications and registration of all events.nbsp;/li liActs as the lead point of contact at all Network employee recognition events and is responsible for participating in the events.nbsp;/li /ol/li liResponsible for completing event recaps and budget reviews.nbsp;br/Responsible for launching the annual FHCN Anita de la Vega Scholarship Fund.nbsp; ol liResponsible for communications with local high schools and junior colleges to promote scholarship opportunities across four counties.nbsp;/li liResponsible for coordinating and leading the Anita de la Vega Scholarship Fund Committee.nbsp;/li liResponsible for developing and meeting timelines to execute the annual scholarship application cycle, review, and distribution of funds.nbsp;/li /ol/li liPerforms other duties as assigned.nbsp;/li /ol pDescription of Primary Attributes/p pProfessional amp; Technical Knowledge:/p ol liPossesses specific advanced knowledge and skills, including written and verbal communication skills, computational, computer and technical skills, and mathematical knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree program with a recognized major or comparable experience, and;/li liTwo years of event planning experience in a similar role with proven performance./li liTwo years of marketing experience in a similar role with proven performance/li /ol pTechnical Skills:nbsp;/p ol liAdvanced knowledge of Business and event production experience.nbsp;/li liAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and CANVA./li liAbility to prepare documents in Microsoft Word, including creating tables, charts, graphs, and other elements./li liAbility to use Microsoft Excel to review and compile data, including formulas, functions, lookup tables, and other standard spreadsheet elements./li liAbility to create dynamic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint./li /ol pLicenses amp; Certifications: Valid California Driver License/p ol liCommunications Skills:/li liJob duties require the employee to effectively communicate their opinions, verbally and in writing, and create comprehensive recommendations related to internal employee engagement events and marketing initiatives.nbsp;/li liResponsible for the resolution of conflicts that may arise with event vendors and with employees related to event reservations.nbsp;/li liCompiles, analyzes and prepares information in an effective written form, including correspondence, reports, articles or other documentation./li liEffectively conveys technical information to non-technical audiences./li /ol pPhysical Demands: The physical demands here in this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
