The mission of the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media is to prepare students to ignite the public conversation in our state, the nation and the world, and to understand the role of communication in fostering democracy. The Events Coordinator plans, coordinates, and executes multiple end to end live and virtual events that advance the mission of the Hussman School of Journalism and Media and foster engagement among key stakeholders. When capacity allows, the Events Coordinator may also support the Undergraduate Hub and school sponsored student organizations with event management. The Events Coordinator will leverage exceptional organizational skills, combined with a keen attention to detail, to ensure the flawless planning and execution of all events.
