The American Montessori Society (AMS) is the leading advocate for quality Montessori education, recognized nationally for setting high professional standards in Montessori teaching and learning. This role is essential in elevating AMS's event experiences through strategic planning, high-level coordination, and seamless execution of key events such as The Montessori Event and Regional Symposiums. The position involves some travel within the United States 4-6 times per year including attendance at the Annual Conference. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • five or more years of relevant event management experience • proven ability to manage complex projects independently • excellent organizational and communication skills • proficiency in event management software such as Cvent • ability to travel within the United States 4-6 times per year • must reside in one of the specified states within the Eastern or Southern Time Zone • eligibility to work in the United States • ability to work remotely in Eastern Time Zone
