Events Planner

Elilta Events is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Event Planner (Contractor) to support the planning and execution of elevated, high-touch events. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for delivering seamless guest experiences.

About the Role
As a contract Event Planner, you will collaborate closely with our team to design, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, and large-scale galas. This is a flexible, project-based opportunity with the potential for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

Lead event planning from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with client visionCoordinate logistics including timelines, layouts, and vendor managementSource and manage vendors (catering, rentals, décor, AV, venues)Develop detailed production schedules and run-of-show documentsOversee event setup, execution, and breakdown on-siteManage client communication and maintain a high level of professionalismCollaborate with staffing teams to ensure seamless FOH service and guest experienceTroubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time during eventsQualifications

2+ years of event planning experience (weddings, corporate, or social events)Strong organizational and project management skillsExperience managing multiple vendors and timelines simultaneouslyExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsComfortable working on-site for event executionPreferred: Existing network of vendors and venuesWhat We’re Looking For
