CrowdPass is hiring Freelance Event Technology Specialists
CrowdPass is an event technology platform supporting registration, credentialing, badge printing, attendee check-in and access control across conferences, corporate events, festivals, concerts and other live event environments.
We’re expanding our network of freelance event technology specialists to support CrowdPass implementations across the country.
Ideally, you’re based in the New York City area, but we’re also interested in experienced event professionals who are comfortable traveling regularly for events nationwide.
You’ll work directly with clients and event teams on-site, helping set up, operate and troubleshoot CrowdPass technology from load-in through live event operations.
What you’ll do:
• Set up and configure CrowdPass technology on-site
• Manage registration, attendee check-in and badge printing
• Support session check-in, credentialing and access control
• Configure and operate CrowdPass software across computers and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity and event technology issues
• Train client teams and event staff on CrowdPass workflows
• Provide hands-on technical support throughout live event days
What we’re looking for:
• Previous event experience is required. You must have worked in live event environments and understand the pace and expectations of on-site event operations.
• Very comfortable with event technology, including computer-based systems, mobile applications and connected hardware
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent under pressure. Live events move fast, and you need to be comfortable troubleshooting problems, making decisions and thinking on your feet
• Professional and confident working directly with clients, venues and event staff
• Willing and able to travel for events across the U.S.
• Networking experience is a major plus, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, local networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues
Experience with registration platforms, access control, RFID/NFC, ticketing systems, badge printers, networking, AV or other event technology is highly valued.
This is a freelance / project-based position with opportunities for ongoing work and travel throughout the country.
