With a portfolio that includes celebrity weddings and society events, LASE is at the forefront of luxury event planning in the Bay Area.Position OverviewThis is a full-time Studio Manager position at Laurie Arons Special Events in San Francisco, CA. The Studio Manager will be responsible for working closely with Laurie and the team to maintain a professional studio setting, manage inventory for events and ensure that the day-to-day operations of the company are handled with care. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to deepen his or her knowledge of the client service and hospitality industry while simultaneously gaining hands-on experience of event planning and production at the highest level.Salary Range: $70k annual plus event day pay.RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinates and maintains a polished and organized appearance of office and meeting space.Ensures efficient office operation and procedures such as general filing management and oversees packing and unpacking for events.Maintains an orderly storage unit (offsite) so that all materials are protected, organized and easy to find for future use.Responsible for inventory and ordering all office supplies and keeping the supply area organized as well as the emergency kit stocked ahead of each event.Runs errands that are related to the Studio.Helps to maintain the office calendar, including scheduling client and partner meetings.Assists in answering and screening telephone calls from vendors, clients, guests and inquiries, conveys messages and gives information to callers, routes calls to appropriate persons on the team.Coordinates with guest hotel staff for routine guest list updates throughout the planning process and throughout the event.Assists with client mailings.Assists with diligent note taking for some internal, client and partner meetings as needed - the ability to digress information for multiple projects at one time is essential.Assists with various administrative and research projects as requested by the team.Responsible for travel arrangements for the team.Coordinates the staff attire for events and maintains attire (dry cleaning, ordering, getting certain pieces tailored).SKILLSStrong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to multi-task.Comfortable in a dynamic and fluid work environment with 3-4 other team members and a wide bench of event weekend staff, creative vendors and outside partners.Enthusiastic collaborator, willing to jump in and assist when needed for projects outside direct responsibilities.An understanding of basic etiquette for client mailings (like how to address a couple) and a high attention to detail related to mailings.Familiarity with Asana, Microsoft Word and Excel, Canva, Google suite and Dropbox.Minimum of 2 years of experience required.High attention to detail and a high standard of excellence for final deliverables.In studio 4 days a week and available for up to 9 weekends a year which may be spent working at events.REQUIREMENTSA car is required to fulfill your duties.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offShift:Day shiftAbility to Commute:San Francisco, CA 94123 (Required)Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
