The Role

We are looking for an experienced, confident Wedding Planner to step into a client-facing Lead Planner role. This person will take ownership of new inquiries, guide couples through the booking process, and lead weddings from planning through execution.

This is a 1099 contract position with strong growth potential and the opportunity to take on a steady flow of weddings under the Josie Jo Events brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
Lead consultation calls and help guide couples through booking
Manage the planning process, including timelines, layouts, and logistics
Communicate with vendors and oversee all event details
Lead rehearsals and manage full wedding day execution
Direct and manage on-site assistants
Ensure a seamless, organized, and elevated client experience

What We’re Looking For

1+ years of wedding planning experience required
Comfortable and confident leading consult calls and booking clients
Ability to independently manage weddings from start to finish
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Calm, solutions-focused, and professional under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Available for weekend events
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within PA/NJ/DE

Compensation

1099 contract position
Revenue share per wedding
Opportunity to take on additional weddings based on availability
Potential for increased percentage for self-sourced clients
