Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company operating across the United States. We are in search of passionate planners to join our team as Lead Wedding Coordinators. This contract role provides the flexibility to create your own schedule, with training offered to all new hires. Compensation ranges from $300 to $350 for 10-12 hours of work, paid per project. We are looking to build our team in preparation for the exciting 2026 wedding season and beyond.
As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will take the reins in delivering exceptional wedding planning services to couples, primarily on-site. Collaborate closely with our client experience managers throughout the planning phase and assist alongside our coordination team to ensure flawless execution of weddings.
Conduct a final details call with clients approximately six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day prior to the wedding, ensuring all participants are well-prepared with timing, processional flow, and key cues.Act as the primary advocate for the couple on the wedding day, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented presence to support them through any challenges.Oversee the setup of the ceremony and reception to align with the event design and our day-of execution playbook.Manage the full wedding day process, from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown after the event concludes.Welcome, direct, and serve as the main point of contact for all vendors.Clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.Coordinate placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements.Support the wedding party and family members with guidance, timing cues, and any day-of needs.Ensure that all items at the end of the event (gifts, guest books, personal décor, etc.) are packed and accounted for.Proactively manage and resolve any issues or last-minute changes to maintain a seamless guest experience.Requirements:
Availability to work on weekends is essential.A minimum of two years' experience as a wedding planner or event planner is required.Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must.Reliable transportation is necessary.Ability to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
