About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Events & Meetings Manager to lead the planning and execution of internal and external events for a Fortune 500 organization. This role is responsible for managing all logistical and operational aspects of meetings, conferences, executive events, and large-scale corporate functions. You are responsible for working closely with third party vendors and building high trust relationships to deliver internal and external events. You look for innovative ways to elevate Gap Inc events and our attendee experience. to ensure alignment with business objectivesDevelop and manage event timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure seamless executionLead on-site event operations, troubleshooting issues in real time and ensuring a high-quality attendee experienceManage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and suppliers to ensure service excellence and cost efficiencyEnsure compliance with company policies, risk management standards, and health and safety regulationsOversee registration processes, attendee communications, and event technology platformsTrack and report on event performance metrics, ROI, and post-event feedback to drive continuous improvementMaintain and enhance event standards, playbooks, and best practices across the organizationWho You AreBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred5–8+ years of experience managing corporate events and meetings, preferably within a large or global organization or Conference center operations.Bonus if you have CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or other relevant certification Proven experience handling complex logistics and high-visibility executive eventsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneouslyExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency with event management tools and platforms (e.g., Cvent, SocialTable or similar)Excellent time management and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication and presentation skillsAble to develop good relationships with internal and external partnersAbility to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutionsUnderstanding of concepts and procedures specific to Global EventsAbility to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events (up to 25% of the time)
