We are seeking a Manager, Events Management, to join our team. The Manager, Events Management is responsible for the management of in-person and hybrid Society conferences and assigned meetings. Registration management Maintains oversight of contractors and subcontractors hired for individual events Coordinate the planning, production and marketing procedures with regard to development of promotional literature, including copywriting and meeting supplies Provide on-site conference management and conduct conference evaluations Develop and review, on an on-going basis, the marketing and promotional plan for each event Responsible for budget preparation, monthly accruals, and invoice reconciliation Maintains historical database for each event, including financial information, planning and operations, logistics and attendance Liaise with the conference planning committee and staff members in other directorates and related suppliers Coordinate advertisement, sponsorship, and exhibit programs as they relate to specific events This role requires a bachelor's degree or additional equivalent work experience and a minimum of 10 years' experience in the meeting planning industry with association experience as a plus.
