Membership and Events Coordinator- Hybrid Schedule Currently seeking a results-oriented Membership and Events Coordinator for an exciting opportunity in Providence, RI. Responsibilities of the Membership & Events Coordinator • Register members and track membership renewals in database • Provide Events team with detailed update/status of all POs, check requests & payments • Support events from concept to completion, partnering with cross-functional team of internal and external members • Assist Events team with internal events registration portal including badging/hotels for multiple events • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to clearly communicate event execution timing and expectations • Create effective pre-event timelines to ensure event is fully delivered and executed • Taking meeting minutes for committees and special interest groups • Support and distribute members' newsletter • Create and obtain signatures for all POs, check requests • Reconcile invoices and budget on a bi-monthly basis • Support product meetings with cross-functional team to ensure proper product representation at events • Manage conference room bookings for attendees • Office management including calendar management, document preparation, processing expense reports and travel arrangements for the team • Manage all incoming and outgoing requests for administrative support • Requirements of the Membership & Events Coordinator • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management or Marketing • 2 years of administrative project management & event experience • Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects in high volume, dynamic business environment • Proven organizational and time management skills – ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, and to be pro-active with strong attention to detail • Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects in high volume, dynamic business environment • High degree of initiative and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision - - must be a self-starter • Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines under pressure • Outstanding team player with high energy, enthusiastic and positive attitude • Strong written/verbal communications • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
