The Companies of J.J. Young is searching for a Special Events Coordinator for our client in Albany. A valid Driver's License and a form of personal transportation are required for event travel. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or significant experience as a substitute • 1+ year/s of experience coordinating special events • 3+ years of experience with office administration management • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments • Excellent time management skills • Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photo Shop, Publisher, Access, and electronic office systems, including email, calendar administration and familiarity with Microsoft Office Experience: • Event planning: 1 year (Required) • Office Administrative Management: 3 years (Required)
