Event Planning Coordinator Job Description As an Event Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of conferences. This includes food and beverage requirements, timing of events, audio-visual requirements, special attention to guests, room type allocation, rooming list, amenities, function room setup, group transportation, check-in and check-out procedures, luggage storage, complimentary rooms, billing instructions, preparing event briefs, resumes, or other points of communication, authorized signatures, internet requirements, storage and delivery, power requirements, key requirements, expected food and beverage outlet usage, group hospitality/office/registration desk requirements, and business centre requirements. • Conduct pre- and post-conference meetings when agreeable with the client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in event planning within the hotel industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain steady and calm in high stress situations.
