Senior Event Coordinator

Job Description We are seeking a seasoned event coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of various events at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in event management, including articulating details and communicating effectively with internal support teams and client-appointed points of contact. Key Responsibilities: • Manage various types of events as dictated by ongoing event activity • Determine event strategies and plan how to accomplish event success • Serve as primary contact and principle liaison during an event • Determine needs and resolve problems by making strategic, business-oriented decisions • Build and maintain successful business relationships with clients • Provide paperwork for event planning, including resumes, work orders, floor plans, event reports, and final invoicing • Collect payment in advance as outlined in the license agreement • Accept project work assigned by the Director of Events and attend meetings regularly with support departments • Run reports and understand key performance indicators using the USI framework • Evaluate customer needs and provide efficient and effective solutions Required Skills and Qualifications: • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency • A minimum of 4-5 years of related work experience • Experience managing and/or planning events, including articulating details and communicating effectively • Excellent customer service skills working with diverse backgrounds • Knowledge of computer operations (Microsoft Office 365) • Effective oral communication and listening skills • Effective written communication skills • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Independent thinking and problem-solving skills
