Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide variety of corporate and social events, including meetings, conferences, weddings, and galas. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the event planning process from initial consultation to post-event follow-up. Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards. Collaborate closely with the catering team, venue staff, and vendors to ensure all logistical aspects are covered. Oversee on-site event execution, managing setup, guest flow, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Source and manage relationships with external vendors, such as florists, entertainment providers, and AV technicians. Ensure all events adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Conduct site visits and venue inspections to assess suitability for client events. Maintain accurate event documentation, including contracts, invoices, and client communications. Contribute creative ideas for event themes, décor, and entertainment to enhance the client experience. Gather client feedback post-event to identify successes and areas for improvement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events. Proven experience managing both corporate and social events. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and effective under pressure. Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. A genuine passion for creating memorable and successful events.
