Senior Event Manager (EVENTS SPEC 4)

Operating with a high degree of technical knowledge and autonomy, and in partnership with multiple event owners, leads the events team with expert management overseeing the planning, managing and executing of approximately 75 events for UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions (UA), and collaboratively hosted events which include various stakeholders, including multiple UC Campuses, the University of California Office of the President (UCOP), the Chancellor, Deans, and Vice Chancellors offices, professional schools, academic departments, student service departments, donors, authors, performers, and other important dignitaries. Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position • Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program • Bachelors degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training • At least two years of highly-visible, large-scale event management, preferably at a higher education institution. • Long-term goal and strategic planning, analytical and program evaluation skills to effectively provide sound recommendations and to continually examine current systems and develop or revise to meet goals.
