Special Event Coordinator job at Octagon Consulting, LLC. The Special Events Coordinator supports the Brownsville Convention and Visitors Bureau’s mission to promote tourism and elevate Brownsville as a premier destination. This role will focus on developing, coordinating, and executing Visit Brownsville’s signature events including but not limited to Space Fest, Charro Days Classic, Birding Festival, Concert Series while also engaging in community outreach and local representation at strategic events. Under the supervision of the CVB Assistant Director, the Coordinator will work closely with city departments, vendors, and community stakeholders to ensure the success and visibility of Brownsville’s cultural, tourism, and destination events. Assist with procurement, vendor management, and contract coordination to ensure events remain within budget with the support of the CVB Administrative.
