Plans, organizes, and conducts the operation of the City’s special events. Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Knowledge of: Principles and practices of community and special events. Ability to: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, management, and the public; Plan advertising campaigns and other marketing methods and encourage event attendance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
