Under the supervision of the CVB Assistant Director, the Coordinator will work closely with city departments, vendors, and community stakeholders to ensure the success and visibility of Brownsville’s cultural, tourism, and destination events. • Event Planning & Logistics • Destination & Cultural Promotion • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination • Community Engagement & Outreach • Public Representation & Customer Service • Marketing & Promotional Collaboration • Bilingual Communication (Preferred) • Budgeting & Cost Tracking • Coordinate and execute signature events hosted by the Brownsville Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) (also known as Visit Brownsville), including logistics, programming, and follow-up evaluation. • Assist with procurement, vendor management, and contract coordination to ensure events remain within budget with the support of the CVB Administrative. A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience is required.
