Special Events Program Manager

Girl Scouts is the largest organization for girls in the world. Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs, the Events Manager will be responsible for the management and execution of major member focused events including (but not limited to) GSNorCal’s annual Golden Gate Bridging, and other signature events and programs. This position will work closely with program staff and other departments to oversee and execute event planning and coordination, vendor management, event volunteer coordination, attendee coordination, solicitations, creating event timelines, and other event logistics. • Manage daily coordination of tasks and projects, including preparing and maintaining event project timelines and workflow, budgets, event staffing, organizing and leading project meetings. • Ability to meet the Girl Scout background and verification standards, including fingerprinting.
