Our client, a premier luxury events venue in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to support the Venue Events Team with both administrative and event operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys multitasking, and is passionate about creating exceptional client experiences. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Venue Sales and Event Services teams Prepare and assist with proposals, contracts, addendums, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and tasting materials Answer incoming sales calls and direct client inquiries Respond to event leads and assist with client communications Coordinate and support venue site tours and walkthroughs Process client payments and checks Track vendor commissions and maintain accurate records Prepare, print, and organize event menus, signage, labels, and event materials Coordinate vendor documentation, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Compile and maintain reports, including Monthly Leads Calendars, Six-Week Forecast Reports, and other operational reporting Submit invoices and assist with billing documentation Organize and maintain digital event files and documentation Coordinate client deliveries and event logistics Provide on-site event support before, during, and after events as needed Assist with additional administrative and operational projects to support the Events Team Required Qualifications: Previous experience in events, hospitality, catering, luxury venues, hotels, or event planning Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent customer service and professional communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience preparing reports, maintaining calendars, and coordinating schedules Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on event needs Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TripleSeat and/or Prismm (Allseated) Experience supporting luxury events, weddings, corporate events, or hospitality operations Familiarity with BEOs, contracts, event documentation, and vendor coordination Experience handling client-facing responsibilities in a hospitality or event setting The Solomon Page Distinction undefined: Solomon Page Acting as a strategic partner to clients and candidates, the company focuses on offering customized solutions and building long-term relationships based on trust, respect, and the consistent delivery of excellent results.
