This is a professional position that has an active role in the administration, operations and sales of the venue. The Venue Manager will report to 828’s Director of Venue Operations to ensure company packages and service workflows are operating efficiently while maintaining exceptional profit margins and managing local relationships. • Support team efforts in monthly sales targets for space, planning, goods & decor, and beverage • Oversee the sales cycle from client inquiry to final booking, as well as prospecting to develop potential new leads and clients • Onsite for tours, events, site visits and Walkthrough Wednesdays, and rehearsals as scheduled • Participate in team meetings to discuss event schedules, client interactions, and workflows • Ensure prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines, including response to client and company emails within one business day • Leverage CRM and event management software to execute and manage client services, appropriate internal & external event forms & deliverables, and internal documents • Assist with venue property support to address cleanliness, wear & tear, repairs, and maintenance; replenish supplies inventories as needed • Assist with venue & beverage inventory, including ordering and receiving of supplies, tools, rentals, product and consumables • Partner with the Beverage & Event Manager & Client Concierges to assist with booked client deliverables, walkthroughs, etc.
