Internship Opportunity – Event Production + Creative/VA (Hybrid Role)
Chic Soirées is a luxury wedding and event production company creating elevated experiences for weddings, corporate clients, and nonprofit organizations.

We’re looking for a multi-skilled, proactive intern who wants real‑world experience across event production, content creation, and business operations. This is a hands‑on role for someone who wants to learn how a growing event business actually runs behind the scenes.

Compensation Structure (Read Carefully)
This is an unpaid internship focused on hands‑on experience, training, and portfolio development.

However, interns may receive:

Paid opportunities ($15–$18/hour) for select live event days (based on performance and business needs)
Unpaid event day opportunities for training and shadowing

Location & Schedule

Remote (Monday–Friday):

Virtual assistant & executive assistant support
Content creation & social media
E-commerce (Etsy shop, digital products)
Website updates & backend support

Atlanta‑based event productions (weddings, industry monthly networking events, nonprofit/corporate events)
Future opportunities may expand to Florida and Maryland

You do not have to be based in Atlanta for virtual work, but must be able to travel to Atlanta for event opportunities if selected.

What You’ll Do
Event Production

Assist with event setup, breakdown, and coordination
Support timelines, vendor communication, and logistics
Organize event materials and prep kits

Content Creation & Marketing

Capture and create behind‑the‑scenes content
Assist with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and brand visibility
Edit short‑form video content (Reels/TikToks)
Help plan and execute content strategy

E-Commerce (Etsy + Digital Products)

Assist with product research and creation
Upload listings and optimize descriptions
Support digital product organization and launches
Assist with inbox organization and follow‑ups
Help manage calendars, scheduling, and client coordination
Research venues, vendors, and business opportunities
Assist with documents, proposals, and internal systems

What You’ll Learn

How luxury events are executed from start to finish
Real client and vendor management experience
Content strategy for a growing brand
E‑commerce fundamentals (Etsy + digital sales)
Backend systems, automation, and business operations
Executive‑level support in a fast‑moving business

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and organizational skills
Interest in weddings, events, or creative industries
Experience or interest in content creation (social media, video, editing)
Basic knowledge of Canva, social platforms, or web design tools (Wix, Squarespace, etc.)
Ability to take initiative and figure things out without constant direction
Comfortable balancing creative and administrative work
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and proactive

Requirements

Reliable transportation for events (if local)
Able to lift light to moderate event items
Laptop + internet access for virtual tasks
